SMCRF in collaboration with Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir, Chandragiri organized an education plus cleanup hiking from Matatirtha to Chakhel Deurali to students of class nine and ten of Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir. Altogether 25 students participated in the cleanup campaign. The hike started at 8 am from Matatirtha and reached the Chakhel Deurali at 11:30 am. During that period all participants collected the inorganic materials from the hiking route. Participants also emptied the waste bin which was previously installed by SMCRF and funded by EOCA. Participants with the collected waste climb down the hiking route at 1:30 pm. Around 70 kg of waste was collected from that hiking route. The waste was deposited in Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir, which was later on collected by waste collection vehicle of Chandragiri Municipality.
